From the edge of the universe to the high desert
Since the dawn of time, mankind has yearned to understand its place in the universe; always striving to uncover truth from mystery, and closure to age-old questions. Are we alone in this cosmic arena? Or is the sea of space, in its mind-boggling expanse, void of any others like us? It is hard to comprehend the mindset of those who discount these possibilities. In a universe where there are billions of stars, and billions of planets revolving around them, it is ignorant to think that we are the only ones here.
With a multitude of dedicated and loyal crunchers, Team Art Bell has held a top-ten spot in the SETI@home community for quite some time. Our members are like an underground team of rebels, pirates, if you will, who dare to challenge the imponderable and whose determination to grasp the intangible shall never cease. Never before in its quest for the truth has mankind taken such collaborative action set on one specific goal; to locate, receive, and analyze signals from the universe. A daunting task indeed, but our combined efforts and progressing technology has made this endeavor much more palpable.
